Self-guided school group visits are available during regular Museum hours: Wednesday–Sunday, 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. The DMA is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Since September 2024, new per-student fees help the DMA support its educational programs and ensure equitable learning experiences for all students who visit the Museum. Our school visits are always free for Dallas ISD schools. Bus scholarships are also available for all Title 1 schools. Check out our pricing for self-guided visits below:

To welcome more students and teachers, the DMA offers bus scholarships to all Title 1 schools visiting the Museum for either a guided or self-guided visit. Scholarships are awarded on a first come, first served basis for schools demonstrating need.
We look at Title I status (now and in the past) of your school/organization as well as the reasoning provided for the need; priority will be given to Title I schools.
