A special book-club-style discussion of Victoria Finlay's Color: A Natural History of the Palette and a related tour.

In Color, Finlay explores the physical materials that color our world, such as precious minerals and insect blood, and addresses the social and political meanings that color has carried through time. Book Talk participants are encouraged to read the book before the discussion. Following the discussion, we will tour selected works from the DMA’s collection.
