In this fairytale-like story of longing and belonging from director Nacer Khemir, blind dervish Bab’Aziz and his spirited granddaughter Ishtar wander the desert in search of the great reunion of dervishes. As they journey for days, Bab’Aziz tells his granddaughter the ancient tale of a prince who relinquished his realm, as the pair encounters other travelers with stories of their own.
