Socios de DMA: Twist, Bind, Saturate

Join us to experience the magic of dyeing! Local artist Lesli Robertson will lead a workshop inspired by the current exhibition Saturated: Dye-Decorated Cloths from North and West Africa. Participants will be taken through the process of transforming white cloth into intricate and unexpected patterns and color, using locally sourced dye plants from the UNT Natural Dye Garden and other traditional natural dyes. Participants will meet in the C3 Studio. All materials will be provided and appropriate clothing is recommended. 

Saturated: Dye-Decorated Cloths from North and West Africa is on view on Level 3 and features 11 dye-decorated cloths produced by traditional techniques and worn as garments or accessories.
