C3 Encuentros artísticos: paisajes fortuitos con Kristen Cochran

Guest artist Kristen Cochran leads this workshop exploring nontraditional methods of mark making to represent imaginative altered landscapes. Participants will create a unique and varied series of works on paper utilizing unexpected drawing and printmaking techniques. We will make small 3-D models from which to draw "touch topographies," explore layered monoprinting techniques, and work directly from photographs. Experts and drawing novices alike will discover something new in this lab-like setting that emphasizes chance processes and pseudo-scientific play. For adults; all materials provided.
