Late Night Main Stage Performance featuring American Bedouin
Size
Text
"Bedouin" is the Arabic name for the desert Gypsies who travel from place to place, picking up bits and pieces of culture and infusing it into their own distinct identity. Formed by guitarist and bassist Buddy Mohmed, American Bedouin incorporates bits and pieces of music from around the world, and fuses it into their own musical identity. Incorporating styles from Africa, the Middle East, Greece, India, and Europe and mixing it with jazz and blues improvisation, American Bedouin creates an acoustical blend of rich textures, exotic melodies, and soaring virtuosity.
The Late Night Main Stage performance is part of Late Nights at the Dallas Museum of Art.
