Maker is a feature documentary exploring the maker movement in America and the state of design and manufacturing in the Internet era. The film follows dozens of makers who are using open sourcing, local manufacturing, crowd funding, and digital fabrication to reshape the way we design and manufacture our built environment. Interviews with leaders in the maker movement break hobbyist stereotypes to reveal the potential of the individual in impacting national and global economies.
