Boris Karloff stars as the reincarnated mummy of ancient Egyptian priest Imhotep. When a team of British archaeologists, led by Sir Joseph Whemple, discover the mummy and recite the legendary scroll of Thoth, Imhotep is brought back to life after 3,700 years.
