Charla nocturna: redescubriendo una computadora de 2000 años de antigüedad

Over 2,000 years ago, a Roman ship full of luxury goods sank off the coast of Greece, its treasures fated to be lost until 1900. Among statues, vases, glass, musical instruments, and other finery, divers found an object the size of a shoebox containing more than 30 bronze gears. It was the world’s first analog computer and a piece of technology that would remain unsurpassed until the Renaissance. How did it work, and what was it used for?
