Concierto nocturno: The Texas Tenor Ride Again

North Texas jazz legend and Texas Tenor Shelley Carrol leads a tribute to the late great Arnett Cobb, a legendary Texas Tenor who played a major role in how the Texas Tenor style of playing made its mark in jazz. The Houston-born Cobb, who would have celebrated his 100th birthday this year, performed with greats like Frank Davis, Chester Boone, Milton Larkin, Duke Ellington, and more.
