Zine Club: Atravesando el pasado

Dive into the graphic, geometric, and colorful works of Los Angeles–based painter Jonas Wood. Reflect on his fascination with psychology and memory to remind yourself of your personal history and culture. Then learn the process of linocut printmaking to assemble a landscape of memories.

Zine Club is a studio workshop series for high school students that invites you to respond to works of art in the DMA's collection through art making and writing. Work created during Zine Club is published in a zine—a self-published book of original creations—that will be circulated in the Museum. Zine Club is completely free and snacks are provided!
