Charla nocturna: Bollywood Kitchen

In his book Bollywood Kitchen: Home-Cooked Indian Meals Paired with Unforgettable Bollywood Films, author Sri Rao combines a love of Bollywood musicals with authentic Indian home cooking recipes adapted for the modern American Kitchen. Filled with vivid film stills and colorful tablescapes, the book is a reflection on two mainstays from the author's childhood: family movie nights and his mother's home cooking. Rao will give a brief introduction to Bollywood films and discuss favorite selections from his book. 

A book signing will follow the talk and dishes from the book will be available for purchase from the DMA Cafe.
