If you've ever wondered whether the pen really is “mightier than the sword” then you’ve never met British cartoonist and set and costume designer Gerald Scarfe. For six decades, Scarfe’s scathing political cartoons have entertained and informed the world (while striking fear in the hearts of major political figures). The Dallas Opera Guild gives you the rare opportunity to encounter the man behind the pen in a public conversation in the DMA’s Horchow Auditorium, moderated by Chris Byrne.
