Mr. Roboto: Coding Art Activity

Create a work of art with the help of robots, and learn the basics of coding with educators from the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.  Visit Movement: The Legacy of Kineticism to experience Ricci Albenda’s Panning Annex, an installation created using coding.  

Art Activity: Color Theory 101 
6:00–10:00 p.m., Chilton Studio 
Experiment with basic concepts of color theory while you create a suncatcher out of overlapping transparency paper. Check out the work of color theorist Josef Albers in Movement: The Legacy of Kineticism.

Get your body moving with the Bombshell Dance Project, who will lead you on a collaborative tour through Movement: The Legacy of Kineticism that is part performance, part dance party, and all fun! Exhibition ticket required to join the tour. DMA Members join for free.  Space is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Bombshell Dance Project is a contemporary dance company founded by Emily Bernet and Taylor Rodman with the mission of investigating the depth of the female choreographic voice and challenging our perceptions of humanity through innovative dance works.
