Arts & Craft After Dark
7:00–10:30 p.m.
Grab a “craft” cocktail and make some art! Some of Dallas’s most engaging visual artists will teach you techniques and processes while exploring different materials and styles. All supplies are provided for you to walk away with original artwork created by you!  This is a drop-in activity.

In September, Sonia Medina uses her recent exhibition, Texicana: Mapas Iconográficos, as a starting point to create an artmaking activity that includes iconic places and spaces in the Dallas Arts District and beyond. Guests will learn the artist's stippling technique, which makes her work so recognizable.

Artist Demonstrations
7:00–9:00 p.m.
Meet Dallas-based artists doing what they do best—creating art. Whether they are painting en plein air on Eagle Family Plaza, sketching and drawing in the galleries, or writing poetry live in the Hamon Atrium, you’ll enjoy watching the creative process happen in real time. Ask them questions to learn more about their process and their next exhibition.

In September, watch as painter Juliana Crownover creates a new artwork right in front of you. The artist will be set up on Eagle Family Plaza painting a familiar scene in the Dallas Arts District.

Pop Up Art Spot!
7:00–9:00 p.m.
Experience artwork in the galleries in fun and unexpected ways at the Pop-Up Art Spot! Whether you are new to the Museum or just looking to see things from a new perspective, the Pop-Up Art Spot offers a variety of hands-on activities designed to help scratch that creative itch.

In September, the Pop-Up Art Spot will help guests explore the Keir Collection of Islamic Art through activities like guided looking and various sensory experiences.

Creativity Challenge
8:00–9:00 p.m.
Team up to participate in our Creativity Challenge, a crafty competition where prizes and bragging rights are on the line!

In September, join the founder of Pasos for Oak Cliff, Jesse Acosta, for a sneaker design challenge.
