Acclaimed American baritone Craig Verm (Everest) presents a lushly romantic portrait of a vanished world, Vienna in the Age of Opulence, with songs by Gustav Mahler, Richard Strauss, and Erich Wolfgang Korngold. These songs and arias of love, longing, and loss pair beautifully with the Dallas Museum of Art’s dazzling exhibition Modern Opulence in Vienna: The Wittgenstein Vitrine and other artworks from the permanent collection.
