This evening of stellar storytelling celebrates the art of short fiction by Texas-connected authors Fabiana Elisa Martínez and Colum McCann. Martínez’s works ponder the complexities of relationships, while the masterfully suspenseful short story Sh’khol by critically acclaimed author Colum McCann will have listeners on the edge of their seats.
Constance Gold Parry has been acting in local theaters for the past 30 years, most recently as Mrs. Hardcastle in the Shakespeare Dallas production of She Stoops to Conquer.
Harriet Harris, born and raised in Fort Worth, attended New York’s famed Juilliard School and won a Tony Award in 2002 for her role in the Broadway musical Thoroughly Modern Millie. Her role in Jeffrey, Paul Rudnick’s smash Off-Broadway hit about love in the time of AIDS, led to memorable guest roles on Murphy Brown, Ally McBeal, Six Feet Under, Frasier, Desperate Housewives, and Ellen. She recently appeared in Cherry Lane Theatre's production of The Roads to Home by Texan Horton Foote.
