Since its founding in the early 1990s, the Rainwater Charitable Foundation has focused on helping children in the United States; specifically, those with the greatest needs. Employing the same strategies that Mr. Rainwater uses for investing, we seek out successful programs around the country with proven, measurable success, strong leadership and the ability to scale for greater impact.
Believing that a high-quality education can transform the life trajectories of children and families, we currently focus on improving public education for children from birth through 12th grade by concentrating our efforts on early childhood education and school leadership. More recently, the RCF has begun to support medical research in the field of neuroscience.
