Teen Workshop: Making the Machine

In the 1920s and 30s, Americans entered a Fourth Industrial Revolution. While factories made products easier and cheaper, machines began to take the place of expert craftsmen and artists. In this two-day workshop, weigh the pros and cons of mass production for yourself with silicone mold-making, and create a toy or sculpture to replicate in resin. Recommended for ages 15–19.
