Make & Take is a guided art-making series for adults that takes place one Thursday every month. Drop by and stay for as long as you want. Whether it's a few minutes or an hour, you will leave with a new skill and your own creation. No previous experience necessary and all materials provided.

Join local Architecture teacher and artist Jay Cantrell on the Rose Family Sculpture Terrace to learn the skills of architectural drawing. Observe the energy of downtown while learning about proportions, perspective, and line. Be inspired by the contrast of the architecture of the First United Methodist Church with the more contemporary look of the D Magazine building. Don't forget to check out the paintings in Cult of the Machine: Precisionism and American Art, which include towering skyscrapers, geometric abstractions of buildings, and complex inner workings of machinery.
