Actor Biographies:
Rosaura Cruz, a Dallas native, is the Executive Director of Junior Players. Her artistic credits include work with theater companies such as Shakespeare Dallas, WaterTower Theatre, and Cara Mía Theatre Co., among others; she is also a commercial, film, and voice-over actor represented by The Campbell Agency. In addition to her administrative and onstage work, Cruz is a very active community member in the Dallas area, where she serves as the 2018–2019 Mayor’s Star Council Development Chair and on Cara Mía Theatre Co.’s Board of Directors, Altrusa Dallas, and several other City of Dallas steering committees.
Lydia Mackay is a theater artist with 20 years of experience on stage, on screen, and in the voice-over realm. She is an Assistant Professor of Performance in the Theatre Department at TCU. She holds an MFA in Acting from SMU, is a Certified Yoga Teacher and proud member of Actor’s Equity Association, and is represented by The Mary Collins Agency.
Brad Leland is an actor and producer who has appeared in over 100 films, television projects, and plays during a four-decade career. Recent television shows include Friday Night Lights, Last Man Standing, Veep, Justified, The Leftovers, CSI Miami, and many more. Leland’s recent film credits include Deepwater Horizon, Hancock, The Domestics, The Great Alaskan Race, and The Last Whistle. Last Christmas he starred as Ebenezer Scrooge in Dallas Theatre Center’s A Christmas Carol. He is honored to be back at Arts & Letters Live’s Texas Bound for the third time.
