Join April Calahan and Cassidy Zachary, hosts of the hit podcast Dressed, for a live episode about the decade of fashion design that Christian Dior called the "golden age." Marked by the launch of Dior's New Look in 1947 and his death in 1957, this period of fashion was known for its high standards of style and quality. Calahan and Zachary will discuss what made the golden age of couture so memorable and which designers made a lasting impact.

She is the author of two books on the history of fashion, Fashion Plates: 150 Years of Style (Yale University Press, 2015) and Fashion and the Art of Pochoir (Thames & Hudson, 2015), and she is a contributing author to The Hidden History of American Fashion: Rediscovering 20th-Century Women Designers (Bloomsbury, December 2017).
