Bonnie Pitman presents a lecture on her discoveries during her tenure as Director of the Dallas Museum of Art on engaging audiences with the Museum and its collection; her recent work at the University of Texas at Dallas’s Edith O’Donnell Institute of Art History, where she developed interdisciplinary art and medicine programs; and her continuing partnership with the UT Dallas Center for BrainHealth to research the neuroscience of observation, innovation, creativity, and her Do Something New™ Practice.
Following her lecture, a conversation with Dr. Michael Thomas, Director of the Edith O’Donnell Institute of Art History and the Richard R. Brettell Distinguished University Chair, will further explore her ideas for engaging audiences in art and neuroscience, medicine, and technology.
