Dallas, TX, June 2, 2017 – The Dallas Museum of Art is pleased to announce the election of the following nine trustees to serve on its Board for a three-year term: Claire Dewar, Timothy C. Headington, Shelly Hoglund Dee, Jun Il Kwun, Thomas Hartland Mackie, Nancy O’Boyle, Toby Purdy, Gowri Sharma, and Nancy Shutt. The Committee on Trustees was chaired by A. Shonn Brown.
In addition, the Museum announced the return of trustees J. Patrick Collins, John W. Dayton, Rusty Duvall, David J. Haemisegger, Lee Hobson, Gene Jones, Susan Byrne Montgomery, Margot B. Perot, and Greg A. Venker to its Board.
The existing team of officers was elected for a second term. The DMA Board of Trustees Officers include Catherine Marcus Rose as President, Melissa Foster Fetter as Chairman, A. Shonn Brown as Vice President, Xuan-Thao Nguyen as Secretary, and Susan Byrne Montgomery as Treasurer.
Those members who, with the Museum’s great thanks for their service, completed their elected terms at the final Board Meeting of the season include: Kim J. Askew, S. Roger Horchow, Barbara Thomas Lemmon, Deedie P. Rose, Gay Ferguson Solomon, David F. Sutherland, and Sharon Young.
