I Have Some Questions for You by acclaimed author Rebecca Makkai is both a transfixing mystery and a deeply felt examination of one woman’s reckoning with her past. When successful film professor and podcaster Bodie Kane’s alma mater invites her back to campus to teach a two-week course, she finds herself inexorably drawn to a case involving the 1995 murder of a classmate and its increasingly apparent flaws. In their rush to get a conviction, did the school and the police overlook other suspects?

Rebecca Makkai’s previous novel The Great Believers was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award, and received the ALA Carnegie Medal. Makkai is on the MFA faculties of Sierra Nevada College and Northwestern University and is Artistic Director of StoryStudio Chicago.

“A true literary thriller—haunting and hard to put down.” —Jennifer Egan
