For the first time since 2018, the DMA will install Yayoi Kusama’s All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins, an iteration of the artist’s iconic Infinity Mirror Rooms incorporating one of the artist’s quintessential symbols, the pumpkin. This boundary-pushing experiential work draws on several of Kusama’s characteristic themes, including infinity, the sublime, and obsessive repetition, allowing the viewer to literally become a part of the art.

In Return to Infinity: Yayoi Kusama, you will enter one of artist Yayoi Kusama’s signature immersive Infinity Mirror Rooms featuring one intimate, room-sized installation.

TICKETS

  • Timed tickets are required for the Return to Infinity: Yayoi Kusama exhibition due to the artist’s popularity and the installation’s design. Both visitors and DMA Members must have a timed ticket to enter the exhibition.

  • People age 15 and under must be accompanied into the exhibition by an adult; if there are more than two children in your party, please be sure any children waiting for their turn are supervised by another adult in your party.
  • Adults will need to purchase an additional ticket(s) to enter the exhibition with another child.

ARRIVAL TIME

  • Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled entry time to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Each experience lasts 45 seconds. Per the artist’s intent, only two people are allowed in at a time.

What is a timed ticket?

  • Timed tickets are required for the Return to Infinity: Yayoi Kusama exhibition due to the artist’s popularity and the installation’s design, which accommodates only two people at a time. Timed tickets ensure entry at a specific date and time.

Do all DMA Members need a ticket?

Why can’t I take my bag in?

Is it wheelchair accessible?

  • Standard wheelchairs and other mobility devices less than 30" wide can enter and exit the Infinity Mirror Room one at a time. Inside the exhibition is a short runway; once inside, wheelchairs will not be able to turn around, and visitors must be able to back straight out of the room. If your wheelchair or mobility device does not meet these requirements, please alert a DMA staff member. You will be given the option to borrow a wheelchair from the Museum that fits the required dimensions in order to experience the exhibition.
