In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, the DMA is partnering with community organizations to offer mindful activities that blend art and wellness.
Join us for a workshop led by Stefanie Tovar, Yoga Facilitator and founder/CEO of Yena, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting Love and Joy through intentional approaches to wellness that include yoga, meditation, and more!
Participants are invited to experience a shortened version of Stefanie Tovar’s A Class on Letting Sh*t Go™. We encourage attendees to dress comfortably and bring their own yoga mats and journals, though mats and all necessary materials will also be provided.
This class will include the use of profanity and is open to participants 18 and older only. Space is limited; registration is required.
Class Description:
Stefanie Tovar's A Class on Letting Sh*t Go™
Sometimes as we move toward our greatest intentions, we can still find ourselves fighting change by holding onto what was.
Is there something you need to let go of that isn't serving you?
Are you stubbornly holding onto the need to be "right" in order to stay engaged in toxic relationships with others or yourself?
It's time to let that sh*t go!
Bring a journal, open mind, and open heart as we flow and let go. There will be yoga, journaling, and joining in sounds sacred and profane to help cleanse body, mind, and soul. Colored pencils are also encouraged if you want to cleanse in color!
