You are invited to an awareness walk through the Dallas Zoo to celebrate White Cane Day!

Envision Dallas, formally Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind, will host the event in partnership with the Nasher Sculpture Center and the Dallas Museum of Art.

What is White Cane Day?

White Cane Day celebrates the achievements and independence of people who are blind or visually impaired. The white cane symbolizes the ability to navigate safely and independently, and this day recognizes the importance of accessibility and inclusion.
