As part of the statewide celebration hosted by First3Years, the Museum will open early for a morning of artful fun just for children ages 0–5 and their caregivers. Tiny Fossils: Little Hands Pressing Through Time with Carla Renteria

Explore texture and early mark-making by pressing large natural objects—such as leaves, shells, smooth stones, and oversized toy fossils—into soft clay or playdough in this workshop designed just for children ages 1–4. Discover how pressing and lifting objects creates imprints much like fossils preserved over time!
