The Dallas Asian American Film Festival (DAAFF) is a hyperlocal film festival showcasing Asian American films with an Asian Texan focus, taking place on August 29 in the Dallas Arts District. DAAFF features free programming to the public, including: a Film Workshop by Pegasus Media Project at the Crow Museum of Asian Art and screenings of Live Action Shorts, Animated & Experimental Shorts, and a Feature Presentation of "Third Act" by Tadashi Nakamura at the Dallas Museum of Art.

DAAFF is founded and organized by the Dallas Asian American Art Collective (DAART), presented by the Bowdon Family Foundation, and hosted by the Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Center, Crow Museum of Asian Art, and Kessler Studios.
DAAART’s mission is to connect and cultivate the Asian American creative community in Dallas through creating spaces, arts opportunities, and public educational programming to advocate for and amplify the voices of Asian Texan artists. Through DAAFF, we seek to highlight the filmmaking talent of Asian Texans and Asian Americans.
