Join us for an artist talk with Dallas-based painter Riley Holloway as we celebrate the grand reopening of the Center for Creative Connections (C3). Holloway's painting Records on Repeat is on view in C3's inaugural exhibition.

About the artist:
Riley Holloway (b. 1989, Los Angeles, California) attended The Art Institute of Dallas and participated in a portrait workshop at the Florence Academy of Art, Florence, Italy (2011).
Holloway is best known for his dynamic work and fresh look at figurative art. He uses a traditional oil painting technique and bold lines to create depth within his portraits. His images are often accompanied by text and personal references embedded within the work.
Holloway's work has been featured in exhibitions internationally, including at the George Washington Carver Museum, Austin, TX (2025); backs\ash, Paris, France (2023); Bloom Galerie, Geneva, Switzerland (2021); Bode Projects, Berlin, Germany (2021); The Investec Cape Town Art Fair, Cape Town, South Africa (2020); and the African American Museum of Dallas (2019).
In 2023 Holloway’s Records on Repeat was one of 12 works selected for acquisition by the Dallas Museum of Art through the Dallas Art Fair Foundation. His work is held in other prominent collections, including the University of Oregon, Stanford University, the Dean Collection, and the Fairmont Dallas.
Riley Holloway currently lives and works in Arlington, Texas.
