Join us as we welcome the New York-based artist Puppies Puppies (Jade Guanaro Kuriki-Olivo) back to her hometown of Dallas for a film screening and performance lecture at Tureen. Puppies Puppies creates sculptures, installations, and performance works that contend with issues of trans visibility and representation. Her work is featured in When You See Me: Visibility in Contemporary Art/History, on view at the DMA through April 13, 2025.
Guests must be age 18+ and will be required to show identification upon entry for age verification only. Due to space limitations, this event is free but ticketed; advance registration required—tickets are nontransferable.
