Artist Performance featuring Ushio Shinohara

Watch a public demonstration of Ushio Shinohara’s Boxing Painting, in which the artist uses paint-soaked sponges attached to boxing gloves to create his unique brand of action painting. Prior to his performance, Shinohara will take part in the International Pop Artist Panel, discussing the multiple narratives of Pop art and his contributions to the movement. 

This performance is part of Late Nights at the Dallas Museum of Art.
