Step into a unique sensory experience—barefoot! In celebration of Autism Acceptance Month this April, we’re participating in the Barefoot Autism Challenge, a movement supporting the neurodiverse community.
This initiative, created by Tyler Leech, highlights the fact that many autistic individuals find going barefoot beneficial, as it provides natural sensory input, helps process environmental stimuli, and fosters a sense of grounding. The challenge invites everyone to explore the world without shoes, promoting awareness and advocacy for the autistic community.
Barefoot Day will include art making, a scavenger hunt, community tables, and engaging in-gallery activities. No registration is required!
