Join Kamica King, internationally recognized artist, music therapist, and cultural ambassador, for an inspiring songwriting and group music-making experience. Together, we’ll reflect on Black history and envision our collective future through creativity, connection, and the power of music. 

Kamica King at the DMA

King will offer two sessions in the Hamon Atrium on Sunday afternoon: 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. 

Seating is limited at each session; first come, first served.


U.S. Dept. of State Cultural Ambassador and Texas Commission on the Arts State Touring Roster artist Kamica King is a gifted musical storyteller and a multitalented creative whose performances and appearances include the Kennedy Center’s Arts Across America series, Carnegie Hall, the US Open, abroad in South Africa, and TEDx with her talk entitled “Power of Song.” Learn more here.
