Bouquets: A Curator's Perspective

Join Dr. Heather MacDonald, The Lillian and James H. Clark Associate Curator of European Art and curator of Bouquets: French Still-Life Painting from Chardin to Matisse, for a closer investigation of the exhibition's varied artists and themes.  This lecture will introduce floral still-life paintings and trace how French artists creatively explored this genre over the course of nearly two centuries, from the 1750s to the 1930s. 

After 3:00 p.m. the day of the event, tickets will no longer be available online but can be purchased at the Visitor Services Desks at the Dallas Museum of Art.
