Join us for the community premiere of the docuseries Dallas, 2019, airing this January on the award-winning PBS program Independent Lens.

Dallas, 2019 is a five-week observation of the Texas city and its people, and echoes the modern complexities facing cities across America.

Join filmmakers and film participants for a screening of selected episodes followed by a conversation led by author and journalist Casey Gerald. Designed to collectively discover what Dallas most needs to thrive, this event will explore how our individual stories shape our communities and invite audiences to reflect on these questions: How do you shape Dallas? How does Dallas shape you?

Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. Please allow time to arrive and be seated by 1:00 p.m. The program will begin promptly at 1:00.

Host: Casey Gerald, author of There Will Be No Miracles Here
