DMA Members-Only Talk: "Spirit Lodge: Mississippian Art from Spiro"

DMA Members are invited to join Dr. Michelle Rich, The Ellen and Harry S. Parker III Assistant Curator of the Arts of the Americas, for an exclusive members-only talk on Spirit Lodge: Mississippian Art from Spiro.

Organized by the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in close consultation with the Caddo Nation and Wichita and Affiliated Tribes, this exhibition of nearly 200 ancient and contemporary works explores Mississippian ceremonial centers, the discovery of the Sprio site, cultural continuity, and the active power of Mississippian art.
