Family Workshop: Masters of Metal

Family Workshops are for children ages 6–12 and their favorite grown-ups. Explore the galleries, engage in artful conversations, and try hands-on games as a family before creating a work of art in the studio. Class size is limited to 15 children.

Shiny, mighty, and strong! In April, get a firsthand look at how artists and craftsmen used metal to make helmets, tools, and more in the exhibition Samurai to the Imperial Court: Japanese Metalwork.

Adults and younger siblings do not need a ticket. When classes are filled, email familyprograms@dma.org to be placed on the waiting list.
