Seating is first come, first served.
Celebrate Edgar Allan Poe’s 210th birthday with his most chilling short stories, dramatically told through music for harp and string quartet by Renié and Caplet, alongside Schubert’s eerie masterpiece “Death and the Maiden.” Emily Levin performs with PLUS Quartet, whose members come from the DSO: Filip Fenrych, violin; Aleksandr Snytkin, violin; Meredith Kufchak, DSO Principal Viola; and Jeff Hood, cello. The musicians will be joined on stage by Dallas actor and musician Max Hartman, who will read excerpts from some of Poe’s best-known works.
Please note: this program is anticipated to run over one hour in length.
