The Illusionist (2010)

Drawing comes to life in this French animated film by the Oscar-winning director Sylvain Chomet, known for The Triplets of Belleville. This film follows a down-on-his-luck illusionist as he leaves his beloved Paris in search of work. Performing in fringe theaters and bars, he meets a young fan, Alice, who is captivated by his seemingly otherworldly abilities. The pair’s ensuing adventure brings them closer and changes both of their lives forever.

In French with English subtitles. This film is rated PG. (80 mins.)
