Image/Object: Panel Discussion with Lucas Blalock, Margaret Lee and Erin Shirreff

Join the Dallas Museum of Art’s own Gabriel Ritter, The Nancy and Tim Hanley Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art, for a discussion on the current state of photography and image-making.  Featuring artists Lucas Blalock, Margaret Lee and Erin Shirreff, all of whom have works included in the current DMA exhibition Never Enough: Recent Acquisitions of Contemporary Art, this panel discussion will delve into issues such as the growing material concerns of photo-based artists and the evolving role of pictures in today’s increasingly networked, digital culture.
