Late Night Film: The Dove’s Lost Necklace (1991)

This second feature in Nacer Khemir’s Desert Trilogy is a visually stunning folktale about a hunt for missing pieces of a rare manuscript that may reveal all the secrets of love. Hassan and the beautiful princess Aziz encounter wars and false prophets, and face an ancient curse in their search for the manuscript. Hassan begins to suspect that it may be impossible to learn about the infinite dimensions of love.
