Late Night Film: Vision Portraits
Size
Text
The 2019 film Vision Portraits is the personal story of filmmaker Rodney Evans as he embarks on a scientific and artistic journey, questioning how his vision loss might impact his creative future. Through illuminating portraits of three artists—a photographer, a dancer, and a writer—the film looks at the ways these artists were affected by vision loss and how their creative process has changed or adapted. The film combines in-depth interviews with vérité footage to give viewers an up-close and personal look into the wide spectrum of emotions that each artist goes through during the creative process, from idea development through completion and exhibition/performance. This film is not rated (2019, 78 min.).
