Join Carter E. Foster, the Steven and Ann Ames Curator of Drawings at the Whitney Museum of American Art, for an in-depth look at the exhibition Hopper Drawings: A Painter's Process.  Understanding what Hopper saw, drew, and painted, and how his own subjectivity and imagination informed these activities, is at the core of his creative process.  Hopper both observed the world with great specificity and used that careful observation to get at something more universal.  By carefully studying how he drew the world in order to paint it, we can more deeply reveal the core of his creativity.

Late Night lectures are included in FREE general admission.
