Since 1985 more than 55 women have donned gorilla masks as part of the feminist activist art group Guerrilla Girls. With pieces like Do women have to be naked to get into the Met. Museum?, featured in the DMA's current exhibition Visions of America: Three Centuries of Prints from the National Gallery of Art, they use their art campaigns and public appearances to raise awareness about gender and ethnic discrimination in the art world and beyond. Join Guerrilla Girl Käthe Kollwitz for a discussion about the group's work and how you can use humor and facts to expose inequity. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for DMA Members, 6:45 p.m. for the general public. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. DMA Members, enjoy a meet and greet with Kollwitz at 9:00 p.m. in the DMA Member bar.
