Whether you like to draw, paint, sculpt, or glue, we have a project for you! Visit us on the first and third Saturday and Sunday of every month in Studio 1 in the Center for Creative Connections. Art projects change every month and offer new inspiration for playing and creating.
The first hour of Open Studio will be dedicated to providing a pleasant sensory environment for art making, with a focus on creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. While this hour is geared toward visitors with auditory sensitivities, all are invited to join.
In November, we will create floral-themed bookmarks using pressed plants and flowers and a variety of collage materials as we look at examples from the exhibition Paradise on Earth: Florals in Indian Textiles. All supplies provided, and all ages welcome.
