Whether you like to draw, paint, sculpt, or glue, we have a project for you! Visit us on the first and third Saturday and Sunday of every month in the Tower Gallery on Level 4. Art projects change every month and offer new inspiration for playing and creating.
The first hour of Open Studio will be dedicated to providing a pleasant sensory environment for art making, with a focus on creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. While this hour is geared toward visitors with auditory sensitivities, all are invited to join.
In July, team up with a partner and use a variety of drawing and collage supplies to make unique and opposing fan designs. Decorate one side of your fan and exchange with your partner; then draw a design on the back of their fan that is the opposite of what they drew on the front. Switch back when finished and discuss the inspiration behind your ideas! All materials provided, and all ages welcome.
