Whether you like to draw, paint, sculpt, or glue, we have a project for you! Visit us on the first and third Saturday and Sunday of every month in the Tower Gallery on Level 4. Art projects change each month and offer new inspiration for playing and creating.
The first hour of Open Studio is dedicated to providing a pleasant sensory environment for art making, with a focus on creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. While this hour is geared toward visitors with auditory sensitivities, all are invited to join.
In April, use a variety of materials to create miniature habitats for characters inspired by works of art in the DMA's collection. Afterwards, photograph your scene before bringing your creation home. All materials are provided and all ages are welcome.
