Express your experiences and emotions evoked by the Afro-Atlantic Histories exhibition alongside music therapist and musical artist Kamica King as she guides you on a journey, exploring your creative voice using musical instruments, sounds, rhythms, and art.

Kamica King is a soul singer-songwriter, board-certified music therapist, and founder/CEO of King Creative Arts Expressions (KCAE), specializing in interactive, arts-based programs that promote health and social-emotional wellness. King has been featured as a speaker, clinician, and musical artist locally, nationally, and abroad, also performing in a variety of notable concert halls and venues along the way, from New York to Colombia. She has served as a U.S. Cultural Ambassador with American Music Abroad, and with the U.S. Dept. of State Arts Envoy (Africa) initiative that brings expert, professional practitioners in arts fields overseas.

Space is limited and first-come, first-served.

This program is part of the DMA Free Community Weekend: Revelation & Celebration: Black History and Culture.
